Cantharis a Homoeopathic remedy
Case Study :
Mr XYZ 80 years old came with acute complaint of difficulty in passing urine since one day along with stinging, burning pain, could hardly pass a drop.
The urge to pass urine used to renew every few minutes with burning, stinging pain but could not pass a single drop.
There was a feeling of uncomfort. The patient was afebrile.
Phsical examination: No tenderness was noted on palpation of abdomen. The abdomen was soft and appeared normal.
On further questioning i ruled out prostrate troubles, stones. It seemed like an infection.
Homoeopathic Treatment:
According to symptoms which i stated up like, ischuria ie retention or suppression of the urine, burning and stinging pain renewed with each attempt to micturate, Homoeopathic remedy CANTHARIS was prescribed and the result was amazing.
The patient passed urine within an hour and was ease with himself, only little burning was remainig which also disappeared with further doses.
